Leulah Judson Hawley Scholarship Fund

Each year the Minneapolis-St.Paul Delta Gamma alumnae chapter awards a $500 scholarship towards tuition costs for a collegiate member of the Lambda-University of Minnesota chapter of Delta Gamma.

This scholarship is made possible by the Leulah Judson Hawley Scholarship Fund, which is sustained by alumnae donations and fundraising efforts. Please consider donating to the fund to allow the alumnae chapter to provide continued to the collegiate chapter. Contributions of any amount are greatly appreciated.

CLAIRE DOTY

We are pleased to announce the recipient of our the Leulah Judson Hawley scholarship for 2020. Claire Doty will be a senior this fall, double majoring in Computer Science & Strategic Communication and a Minor in Spanish.

She is a member of the University Honors Program, made the Deans List in Spring 2019, and received the Panhellenic Scholarship in 2018.

Claire currently serves as VP of Panhellenic Recruitment, where she is responsible for planning and executing formal and informal recruitment, as well as making a direct impact on the potential new members at University of Minnesota. Previously, she was a Rho Alpha Recruitment Counselor and a Director of the Junior Panhellenic board.

Outside of DG, she was apart of the Association for Computing Machinery for Women and she was an intern at Thrivent Financial. She has also volunteered throughout the years at Apple Valley Speech Camp to coach and advise high school speech & debate students.
