Special Interest Groups
Special Interest Groups help members connect on a more personal level and tend to be rewarding and fulfilling. Form a group comprised of members sharing a common interest (Book Club, Mommy ‘n Me, Sister Mixers) with the intention of having this group create a bond with one another as well as the alumnae group. Interest Groups should have a chairman to be a liaison between the SIG and the alumnae chapter or association.
The Minneapolis-St.Paul Delta Gamma alumnae chapter is excited to introduce the special interest groups listed below.
Book Club
If you enjoy reading and have been looking for a book club to join, this special interest group is for you! Our book club standardly meets on the second Saturday of the even months from 10AM-12PM. The first 30 minutes is generally spent getting settled in and catching up followed by 1 hour spent discussing the book (yes, we actually discuss the book!).
Save the dates and tentative reads for 2026:
- February 8, 2026 - The Favorites by Layne Fargo
- April 11, 2026 - A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith
- June 13, 2026 - TBD
- August 8, 2026 - TBD
- October 10, 2026 - TBD
